Photos Demostrating What Happens at Rabbit Shows

As the saying goes a picture speaks 1000 words, so I have included some photographs to demostrate what happens at shows and you can get a taster to how some breeds are handled compared to others.

Rex judging - In this photo Rex are being judged at Southern Championship Show. Note the way they are been stewarded

Judging of the Netherland Dwarfs - In this Picture Netherland Dwarfs are being judged. This breed also sits up as you can see in this picture. The rabbit behind the REW Netherland is a Siamese Smoke. The judge is about to turn over a Netherland Dwarf to check it over.

AOV Rex Class - In this photo is a Mini Ermine Rex (nearest to the camera), Blue Otter and a Castor Rex. Note how the stewards handle these Rexes.

Judging of the Junior Cashmere Lop Class - In this photo the judge is looking over a Sealpoint Cashmere Lop. All the Cashmere Lops in this Junior Class where Sealpoint. The Cashmere Lop the judge is looking over later won this class on body type and coat.

Juding of English Lops at Bradford Championship Show, note the way they are stewarded.

Judging a REW Swiss Fox - In this picture the judge is looking at a REW Swiss Foxes coat. Swiss Fox are a fur breed of rabbit and are classed as a rare breed as they don't have their own breed club. They are under the RV Rabbit Club. Swiss Foxes appear to be the quite popular down here.

Judging of the Fancy Grand Challenge

In this picture is a REW Netherland Dwarf, Black Otter Netherland Dwarf, Black and Tan and a REW Polish. The judge is seeing what wins Best Fancy rabbit in Show.
